# How do I move students to another teacher or classroom?

If you want to move a student to a different classroom, here's how to do it:

1. Click on 'Students' and select 'Edit' next to the name of the student you wish to move.

2. In the 'Teacher' field, start typing the name of the new classroom to whom you would like to transfer the student and the name will appear and can be selected.

3. Click 'Save changes'.

| NOTE: This functionality is only available to Principal and Deputy Principal users.
