# Quickstart Guide (Principals/Admin)

Here's our guide to help you get up and running in just minutes. Start by logging in at https://app.altr.com.au/login

1. Add teachers: This can be done by manually adding them with first name, last name, e-mail address, year group and classroom name, or by importing an Excel file. [Learn more.](/en-au/article/how-do-i-add-a-teacher-aw4pjw/)

2. Add students: This can also be done manually or by importing an Excel file, then students can easily be assigned to a teacher/classroom. [Learn more.](/en-au/article/how-do-i-add-a-new-student-or-import-bulk-students-1nm5ter/)

3. Visit the Settings section to make any changes you see fit such as altering test dates (in case they clash with other school events) or exclude some tests if necessary. [Learn more.](/en-au/article/where-can-i-view-the-full-test-schedule-1hspb8t/)

After the initial setup you will be presented with a brief tutorial to show you around the various sections of the platform.
