How do I switch my school to classroom pricing?

Schools that subscribed before classroom pricing was introduced stay on their existing plan and price. You can switch whenever you like; nothing changes until your next renewal.

1. Compare the two prices

Open Subscription. The card headed "New: per-classroom pricing" shows the number of classrooms you have in use, what they would cost per year on classroom pricing, and your current annual price. If classroom pricing is cheaper, the saving is shown. If it is not, the card says "Your current pricing is the better deal - no action needed" and you can stop here.

2. Choose your licences

Click "Switch to classroom pricing". The "Classroom licences" field starts at the number of classrooms you have in use, which is the minimum, and you can increase it if you expect to add classes. The new annual price updates as you change the number.

3. Confirm

Click "Switch". You will see "Switched to classroom pricing - takes effect at your renewal on {date}". Your current subscription runs to its end date exactly as before. From the renewal date, your subscription is for the licences you chose, billed at the classroom price.

Good to know

• Any first-year promotional coupon on your account does not carry over to classroom pricing.
• After switching, "Purchase additional licences" is available if you add classes before renewal.
• The switch is made from the app by a principal or deputy principal.
• Switching can't be undone, so compare your current and classroom prices on the Subscription screen first. If you don't switch, your school stays on its current plan and keeps renewing at its current price.
