How do I use the Assessment Manual?

The Assessment Manuals are an essential component to using ALTR as they contain the visuals to be used for reference/prompting when administering tests. These manuals are available HERE for each of the year groups and are setup to be used as follows:

Introduction: This contains basic information about what's in the book and how to use it.
Contents: Quick access to find the test you're about to administer.
Practice items: Some test levels contain practice items to allow the student to become familiar with how the test will work.
Test items: Actual tests contain visuals that may be pictures or letters and they will include instructions for how to administer the test. Where students are to be prompted with letters, there are both foundation and cursive variations of letters, so please only display the variation applicable for use in your classroom.

Some tests require students to write answers on a piece of paper - for these tests, feel free to photocopy the corresponding page from the handbook or have them write in an exercise book or on a piece of paper.
