Quickstart Guide (Teachers)
Here's our guide to help you get up and running in just minutes. Start by logging in at https://app.altr.com.au/login
Once you've been invited to the ALTR platform by your school Administrator/Principal/Deputy, you will receive an e-mail with details about how to setup your account. Click on the link in the e-mail and complete the account setup process. Learn more.
Dashboard: This screen gives you all your most important information at a glance. You can see how students in your classroom are performing, when the next test is scheduled, you can view the test details, look at student profiles, see previous test results and quickly identify students who may require additional support to get up to speed.
Administering tests: You will receive a reminder e-mail the week before a test is scheduled and when you're ready to administer a test, you simply click 'Test now' to view the test details while referring to the ALTR Assessment Maual (which you can download here) and administer the test as per the instructions provided. Testing should take no longer than 2-3 minutes per student and results (along with any additional comments or negative observations) are entered directly into ALTR, along with whether or not the student passed the test or will need to repeat the test. Recommended products: The products displayed in the 'Recommended Products' section will vary from classroom to classroom and are customised specifically to your classroom based on the results of tests administered in your classroom. The platform identifies trends in test results and negative observations recorded to present you with products that would be most beneficial for your students.
