Can a teacher be assigned to multiple year levels or split classes in ALTR?

Yes, this is possible!

ALTR allows Principals to assign a teacher to multiple year levels or classes using the “Add more” option while setting up teacher access.

Here are the steps to be followed to assign a teacher to multiple year levels

  1. Select ‘Users’ from the left-side menu
  2. Check the "Split Classes" checkbox while adding or editing a teacher profile
  3. Click on "Add More' button to add a new class to teacher profile

  1. After clicking "Add More" button, select the class from the dropdown, add the class name and click on "Save Changes". You can select "Add More" multiple times to add multiple classes.

  1. Switching between classes is easy - simply click on the dropdown that is displayed underneath the teacher name and select the desired classroom.

A teacher can be assigned across multiple year levels including:

  • EY
  • Foundation
  • Year 1
  • Year 2
  • Year 3
  • Year 4
  • Year 5
  • Year 6

Once the teacher accepts the invitation email, they will be able to access all assigned classes from their teacher dashboard.

This allows schools to manage cross-year teaching structures more efficiently without needing to create duplicate teacher accounts.
