How do I migrate students between teachers? (End of year migration)

If you need to migrate students between teachers in ALTR (e.g. end of year migration of students to a new class), this article will guide you through the process.

Note: Only the Principal account on ALTR can migrate students between teachers.

Steps to Migrate Students

Navigate to the Student List and click on the 'Organise students' button on the right-hand side of the page.




Select Students from the left-hand table (see below) that you wish to migrate. Then, on the right-hand table, select the teacher you wish to migrate these students to.


Migrate the Students by clicking on the blue arrow button between the two tables and then click on 'Done' to complete the migration.
