When should I re-test a student who actually achieved a pass mark?

In creating ALTR, we took on feedback not only from educators and specialists, but also from Principals and Teachers. In doing this, it became clear the ALTR platform needs to provide flexibility across a variety of scenarios and this is one of them.

If a student achieves the necessary result to pass a test (e.g. 4/5) and proceed to the next level but has demonstrated some negative observations during the test, the teacher has discretion as to whether or not to mark the test as passed or re-test again. Re-testing will automatically schedule the test to be re-done in the future and will allow the teacher time to work on helping ensure the student overcomes the previously identified negative observations in the hope they will perform better in the re-test. This is completely at the discretion of the teacher administering the test.
